WATER FOR ALL

[#JUCAwards2025] One day Liter was ill and fallen down on the road. When Wafe went by the way, he saw Liter and touched him. Liter got up soon and got well. ‘Who are you? What is your name?’ Liter asked. ‘I am Wafe’ Wafe said simply. ‘Wafe? It’s not bad. But l feel some mistake in your name. But l can’t make it out. Anyway I’m Liter. I can’t remember what happened to me. Thank you for saving my life’ Liter said. ‘ Don’t thank me. It’s my own responsibility. By the way see this book. This is for you’ Wafe said. ‘Ooh! What’s that?’ Liter asked. ‘It’s a small short story and read. I think this will help you to understand what my name got to be’ Wafe said. Liter get the book and started to read it.

“Once upon a time there was a world called Eater. It was difficult to find a single plant on this world .They were no trees at all .Also there were no animals in there. That world full of dust. That’s why no and can live in that world. As well as there is no one who can bear that heat. The ground was dry and streaked. Now that world is about to be destroyed.

In the meantime a strange -looking colorless person name Warth was travelling near by. Seeing that destruction that was about to happen, he thought that he could stop it, turned around and landed in the deepest part of the world. After that lot of changers occurred. Then situation was normalized. With this situation, many creaters of different types and colours were born. They all depended on Warth. With time, they created new inventions.

Meanwhile, there was a group of green people. They didn’t interper with those things. They gained what they needed from Warth and worked hard to protect Warth. Becaues they felt that they were living because of Warth. There was another group called animals. Warth assisted them with everything. Animals also had a basic understanding that they relied on Warth. But they didn’t understand as much as green group. Most of them became accustomed to not disturbing Warth.

However some people concerned Warth while some people received several benefits. Some people clean themselves of Warth and other clean their belongings. Some other played from Warth. Warth accomplished a great deal in this manner. But more than all this they lived on Warth’s strength. They did all this with the strength they got from Warth. Some times he was visible, sometimes he was with them invisibly. In this way Warth became indispensable to them.

Overtime they missed Warth a bit. But Warth helped them as usual. However because of this forgetfulness Warth was changed gradually. The color of the Warth had become and unpleasant color. Not only that Warth’s taste had also changed now. Before Warth had neither taste no color. Warth has altered significantly. Their rubbish that they put on the Warth caused for it. Warth has changed a lot now. Some people polluted Warth invein. They didn’t care about Warth. They treated Warth as a useless one. Warth was wasted. In addition, some others attempted to destroy the green group that aided to Warth. They used green crow to their advantage. Warth gradually lost their help also. Due various reasons like this, the Warth steadily faded. Warth is going to descend littlefade by very little. Warth felt sad because of all these things. Warth was fade up. Buy the time Warth can’t even move.

The earth saw this crime that happened to earth. The earth began to reflect of that bitter sadness before and the life is got with the arrival of Warth. “I can’t wait for Warth who helped me so much to be so unfair. The earth determined to convince the value of the Warth to them. The earth shook. With that earthquake Warth was given enormous power and stood up against the people who had done this harm to Warth. The destroyed themselves through the Warth who gave them they life. Not only that but also they had to deal with unbearable hot temperatures and they have to experience dirtiness without Warth. Athough they had the part of Warth with them they couldn’t use as it was not clean. They had to suffer a lot. A situation arose where they unable to survive due to server dehydration. Warth’s approbation began to be sense gradually. They started to remember the evil done by them to Warth. They remembered that horrible memory together. “ We should have take more care of the Warth” commented one of them. “ We should have protected the Warth”added another. “ We had to properly dispose of our waste else where without polluting the Warth” one person said. “ We had to use Warth sparingly” explained another. “ We had a green faction that helped Warth that we should have protected. If we have done that they would protect Warth. But now they were also destroyed”. Another group said. Not only that the animals have also been destroyed, we don’t know how much longer we will be able to live” A group of people commented. One of them came up and said. “ I have plenty of money I will buy a part from Warth.Then another said. “ no matter how much money you have, you can’t produce Warth.Warth is already gone”. “ oh my god! we also lost something so valuable that we couldn’t recreate it. What do we do now?” A group of individuals began to shout.

“Delay leads to sadness.We are too late now. It doesn’t matter that you repented.Warth will not appear again. Warth is gone forever.We didn’t feel the worth of Warth because constantly had Warth everywhere we wanted. Especially when we have goods, we don’t always sense the value when we have them. But when those things are stolen from us forever, we feel the worth of those things very well”One individual said. “Warth, please help to Eater” Everyone yelled. The universe then spoke saying “the namre of your world is not Eater and Warth Warth who gave the life to you also not Warth. Your world’s name is Earth. Warth’s name is Water. As well as Warth and Eater are not two words. Not two. One word. One individual. That’s why “Warth Eater” became “Earthwater”. At the same moment all passed away. Four of the five letters in the word “earth” were come from the word “water”. Actually “Earthwater” is a one word.”

Finished the story. Liter felt strange with fear. As he took his eyes away to see Wafe, he had gone. ‘Wafe, where are you?’ Liter shouted. But he was not there. Liter got excited and ran to his home. He went his room immediately and sat on the bed. ‘ According to the book it may be in such away that he is Wafe, I am Liter, Wafe Liter and Life Water’ he thought. ‘Ooh my god! Actually it should be life water. Not only that, according to the book it should be one word and one individual. The problem is solved’ Liter said himself.

Now l can understand what happened to me and what l have to do. Although I am a child, it’s my responsibility to save my life. It means save water. Because life and water are same. I know I can’t do big things. I can’t stipulate rules prohibiting pollution and waste of water. But I can use a bowl to wash my face. I can be careful if a tap is turn off after use it. I can stop throwing rubbish to water resources whenever we go out. I can grow plants to help water cycle. I can do so many things for that. I start now. The best way to start water conservation is to start by yourself’ Liter said with turning off a tap.
