Theme: If you became the President of the World, what three things would you change first, and how would you design to make the world a better place that you imagine leaving to your children and grandchildren?

I would be incredibly blessed to become the president of the world. Having knowledge of the amount of work the position would hold I would practically very busy and held up . But inspite of all that I want to explore the opportunities I can grab by the ability of the position. I’ll be describing my agenda if I ever became the president of the world in the form of a short story:

– It was a stormy night, the wind was slipping through my old creaking windows. It was just a cold chill kept off by by my tattered blanket. I dozed off to sleep to the strangely calming sound of the rusting leaves. With my head inside my pillow I slept holding on to my closest materialist possession – a dream globe. (A toy my mother made in remembrance of the human ability to imagine)

It didnt take long for me to slip into that extremely realist dream. I was in the world parliament. Like the ones we are told about. The place where we go ones we die, the place where they decide if we are going to hell or heaven. There were 7 people in front of me, I was on a bigger and well decorated chair. I had knowledge of all the current affairs in the world as I was the president of the Planent Earth. I came easy for me to remember what happened when with just a few glances. The 7 people in front of me are the leaders of the 7 continents. They gave insights on the problems happening in their continent and I being an erudite offers solutions.

The Asian representative came up first today – She exclaimed that her continent is having a high rate of climate change and deforestation is gradually picking pace. Although she had suggested that they do more conservational activities the people in Asia believed that it is the population to be blamed. She was frustrated at the situation and demanded that I suggest a solution for improvement.

I was expecting this problem to come up to me. With my birds eye view of the situation I was able to see the green cover taken down only to be replaced by the concrete jungle. I can only suggest one thing. Go down with a team og interactive adults and engage the young children in activites of agriculture and educate them on the importance of the natural worl for us to live. If the young begin to create the change , if they become the responsible tomorrow aware of their future then the entire situation will change. They must be shown the importance of green lands, trees , forest filled with the songs of the birds, Dry lands with their camouflage animals and tribes for their way of co-existing with the nature. Be sure to not get me wrong I dont want to live like the tribes , but only appreciate and be gratitudeful for the nature. Gather your team and begin the work immediately !! I ensure you that you will see that change within few months !

With that the Asian representative slide of her seat and got to work immediately ! I was already able to imagine the young adults using their free time cleaning land fills and planting high oxygen yielding plants!

Next up was the African representative – He was concerned of the inflation of necessity for food. Many of the people were experiencing poverty and need support for food. The government is rasing funds and working on for their food but it’s taking a very long time. Young children are getting diagnosed with malnutrition diseases and the older people are having immunity disorders.

I thought on this problem for awhile. I pondered if we could have food made from solar energy with the native crops. But then I realised that Africa is having low fresh water supply and thereby the dry crops such as sweet potato take time to grow. As so I shared to my people my idea of having food in tablets.

It is a sustainable process. Many privileged people tend to waste lots of nutrition filled food due to inability to find time to finish it. So these people can keep their leftover in a orderly fashion . The liquid, solid food will be separated and the other wastes can be disposed. This leftover can be processed in a clean and hygienic manner. After cleaning and the addition of preservatives the food can be made in to tablets. These tablets have a longer life and therefore useable by the African citizens in a cheaper manner with greater accessibility.

This idea was added upon by the members of the parliament and concluded to prove useable by everyone. On this confirmation the African representative gather his group of fast implementing workers and begin to set up the factory needs for the services.

The final representative of the day was from South America. He expressed the most latest emerging issues humans have bought upon themselves. The Fight against corruption and Fight against insecurity/crime/drug trafficking. He said the women in his country are noit able to exercise their right of equality due to increase in amount of illegal durg sales.

This problem really got me. I was thinking on why humans are so unaware of their helpless situation . They brought upon himself a problem many cannot even understand. Nevertheless, I crossed my legs in the professional manner and straightened my back in an authoritative manner. I began thinking of a good solution.

Suddenly there a loud bang on my window. In fear I opended my eyes to be back in reality. It was the milkman here to collect his monthly amount. To be honest , my situation had worsened i was a workless lifeless young women looking for that sunshine in my life. I told the milkman my situation and he said he’ll give me milk from the next month. Meanwhile, I was hung on finding a solution for the representative form South America.

We should have a stricter government have officers going rounds in the nights. But at the end it all came down to self-dcipline. These drugs were first introducded as life saving medicines which could help you feel better. But the whole idea of addiction and extra consumption has spoilt this generation. We are all well aware that we will be the examples of the future generations. We all want a better and healiter world.

On those lines I pondered upon myself closing down those drugs, liqour and tobbaco companies and giving the opportunity to build space infrastucture. Instead of earning by spoiling the world, we can give job opportunities to those well-educated engineers who are starving for well paying job opportunities. They can convert those boilers and chemical mixing areas into titanium making parts. Although it is a rough idea I believe it can help the world become metter. If only my parliament could hear this idea to and suggest ideas to materialise it.

So these are the three things I would do if I become the president of the world. On a broad setup I want to remove the problems which have almost lasted forever make the world a better place to live in with more education and reduced poverty. I want everyone to have equal chances and use the human only for development . Being Perisent of the world I hereby take leave of my sharing !!
